I found out about this at a restaurant! This is the most delicious chicken I have ever tasted.

This recipe for Orange Glazed Roast Chicken has a delicious mix of sweet, tangy, and savory tastes. The orange glaze gives the chicken a nice golden-brown color and fills it with a burst of citrus flavor. Enjoy with your preferred side dishes, like cooked vegetables or mashed potatoes.

List of items needed:

Amount of Ingredients

One whole chicken weighing between 1.5 and 2 kilograms.

Two tablespoons of olive oil

Add salt and pepper as desired.

Four crushed garlic cloves.

1 teaspoon of dried thyme or fresh thyme sprigs

One sliced orange.

To make the Orange Glaze:

Amount of Ingredients

Half a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice.

1/4 cup of honey

Dos cucharadas de salsa de soja.

Two tablespoons of butter

1 teaspoon of grated orange peel

Ginger powder (if desired) 1/4 teaspoon

Directions:

Get the chicken ready: Heat your oven to 200°C (400°F) before using it. Wash the chicken and dry it with a paper towel. Cover with olive oil and add salt and pepper. Put garlic and slices of orange inside.

Prepare the orange sauce: In a small pot, mix together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, butter, orange peel, and ginger (if desired). Heat the mixture until the butter is melted and all the ingredients are mixed together. Cook gently for 3-5 minutes.

Use the glaze. Put the chicken in a baking dish and pour half of the sauce on top.

Cook the chicken in the oven. Cook in the oven that has been preheated for 60-90 minutes, brushing with the rest of the glaze halfway through.

Allow the chicken to rest. Take it out of the oven and allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes before cutting.

Waiter: Cut and serve with baked orange slices.
